JSC “Brīvais Vilnis” is one of the biggest and most developed fish-processing enterprises in Latvia. It was founded in 1949. Nowadays it has about 700 employees; the assortment of the products manufactured and offered by the company exceeds 70 items. JSC “Brīvais vilnis” is the only fish-processing enterprise in the Baltic States, which has special equipment for fish sorting. That allows full control and guarantee invariable quality of the end products. The Company successfully sells its production not only on the domestic market, but also exports it in more than 30 countries of the world.
In year 2007 at Moscow’ s international food exhibition “Prodexpo 2007” “Brivais vilns” was awarded with two golden medales for canned fish products “Sprats in jelly” and “Sprats in a spicy jelly”.
